South Florida School of Excellence provides a year round, individualized, alternative academically based educational model of instruction that is based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis and B.F. Skinner’s analysis of Verbal Behavior for students in Kindergarten - 12th grades.

Academy program is designed to meet the physical and social needs of our select group of students. South Florida School of Excellence provides a comprehensive functional curriculum for the special needs community to explore the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential and to live as independently and productively as possible by socially and emotionally fulfilling, utilizing science-based methodologies.

We provide instructional methods for learning intervention that supports a wide range of ESE programs:

South Florida School of Excellence focuses on higher expectations through reinforcement in learning. A great deal of emphasis is placed on motivation for the student to respond. Although much of the instruction is provided in a 1:1 educational setting that allows and permits all students to learn effectively while permitting accommodations and modifications, the Academy also understands the importance for students to generalize and master the use and control of their skills into the natural environment applied by scientific based method.

To reach that learning level, our staff of specialists develops effective annual goals with observable behavior, conditions and criterion, for each of our students to improve:
